C-Bond Secure is a patented, non-toxic, water-based nanotechnology that significantly increases the strength of glass, improves glass flexibility, and enhances the adhesion of window film to the glass. C-Bond Secure improves glass safety by modifying the failure pattern in case of breakage and reducing the probability of spontaneous glass failure due to thermal stress induced by solar window film. Use it as the applicator for any type of window/glass film. Replacing soap and water with C-Bond Secure provides increased benefits to the glass, an easier film installation, and a shorter curing time, all for the same labor cost and time.

C-Bond BRS is a ballistic-resistant film system validated to pass the National Institute of Justice (NIJ Level I, Level II, Level IIA) and United Laboratories (UL 752) ballistic resistance test standards. The system includes a proprietary security film product and C-Bond Secure, the patent- protected, nanotechnology film mounting solution. C-Bond BRS is engineered to maintain the original glass design while dramatically increasing the mechanical performance properties of the glass. It can be installed on existing glass surfaces or can be easily retrofitted into an existing framing structure without the additional cost for structural changes to the building’s design. At half the weight of other Ballistic Resistant Solutions, C-Bond BRS is more cost-effective and easier to install or retrofit.

C-Bond nanoShield™ & Secure increases impact resistance & strength up to 80% when applied alone. When Secure is applied with film the strength can be double that or more depending on the installation parameters (i.e., single-layer, 3-layer, etc., type of glass, etc.)
C-Bond Secure is used as a safety film mounting solution and glass strengthener and is applied to the inside of the glass as a safety solution against forced entry and wind-born debris during severe storms.
When combined with 1/2” annealed glass or thicker and the appropriate amount of film it can achieve NIJ Level II/IIA or greater ballistic resistance. Chipping and cracking caused by periodic impact from other debris (i.e., errant golf balls, etc.,) can be protected against by applying C-Bond to the outside of the glass as well.
Depends on the type of glass, the location, the frequency with which the glass receives impact, etc. Overall improvement is still 80% from chipping and cracking and further protection against intrusion & ballistics dependent on the application.
Any adhesive residue should be cleaned from the glass as well as possible prior to applying C-Bond Secure.

We can achieve an NIJ Level II/IIA Ballistics Certification using 1/2" Annealed Glass (or 1/4”-1/4” laminated) instead of using 1” Ballistic Glass. Cost savings is roughly 75% on average with a roughly 50% weight savings.
We do not offer exclusive territories, however, we do carefully track individual dealer sales so that we can actively nurture dealers promoting and selling our products.
